Reporting Child Protective Services Issues
The Health and Human Services Commission's Ombudsman Office, in conjunction with the Office of the Inspector General, has established a toll-free line for people to report complaints in response to Gov. Perry's ordered statewide investigation into the practices and procedures of Child Protective Services. If you have information or concerns about casework management or inaction when children have been exposed to abusive situations, please call:
877-787-8999
You may also fax your information to fax number: 512-491-1967.
Or e-mail your information to: contact@hhsc.state.tx.us
Please include your name, telephone number, complaint and a case number, if you have one. All information will be confidential.
Every state Attorney General or Inspector General should make it their new top priority to investigate and vigorously prosecute malicious, malfeasant, sociopathic, fraudulent CPS agents practicing under the Color of Law for their Federal Crimes (several of which are capital offenses) against America's families.

Lifting the Veil
I want everybody to know that Ric Thoma is where I learned the mission-critical tidbit of info I needed to defeat CPS in 1999. I am very pleased he is still on the air and publishing a current Blog too.

A unique insight into why young children sexually abuse other children is to be revealed in a ground-breaking study.
The research, which has yet to be formally published, was on boys aged 10 or under who have molested siblings, classmates, or friends. It found that they are invariably born into families in which abuse, violence and neglect has become routine over several generations.
The peer-reviewed study found that the boys were unable to form healthy relationships as a result of neglectful and hostile parenting. Even before starting school, they were anxious, angry and detached; bed-wetting, nightmares, self-harm and eating problems were common.
All of the boys in the study, which is to be published in Child Abuse Review next year, started abusing after being sexually abused themselves. By the time they received specialist help they had all perpetrated serious abuse against several children. This was not childhood experimentation*: their victims were as young as six months; penetration and violence were common. FULL STORY
*I am not aware of any definition of what normal "childhood experimentation" is. I certainly don't think these "experts" know, and I think the outcome of these "studies" is pre-determined- A.K.A "Circular Reasoning". In other words, JUNK SCIENCE.It took a while to find the study referenced, but here it is-
Description of a UK study of onset of sexually harmful behaviour before the age of ten years in boys referred to a specialist assessment and treatment service

TRENTON, Mich. - A custody hearing was held for two of Jennifer Petkov's children. A Wayne County Probate Court judge ruled on an emergency order. Her eight-year-old daughter and five-year-old son from a previous relationship will now move in with their father until further notice.
Petkov made headlines a few days ago after she admitted to taunting the family of 7-year-old Kathleen Edward, who is dying from Huntington's Disease. She posted disturbing photos of Kathleen of Facebook, and her husband Scott Petkov parked a coffin on the street in front of the girl's home.
The father of Petkov's children filed for the emergency hearing right after the story broke. FULL STORY

Opinion: California foster care bill treats the wrong wound

There's been a lot of unctuous self-congratulation in California's child welfare establishment over a new law that purports to solve the problems of foster care by adding three more years of foster care. The bill may do a little bit of good around the edges. But mostly, it's just a bigger Band-Aid for the wrong wound...

We are living in a Bi-Polar, Schizophrenic society.
| Here in a nutshell, is what's wrong with the entire "Kindler, Gentler, world theory" of child rearing- Tough Times Build Mental Health Resiliency Emerging scientific research suggests coping with adverse life events improves our ability to adapt and handle future events. The finding lends support to the old adage of what does not kill us, makes us stronger. The new national multi-year longitudinal study of the effects of adverse life events on mental health discovered that the experiences appear to foster adaptability and resilience. As such, an individual is able to handle future mental health issues and possess a strong sense of well-being. FULL STORY |
Texas- A 12th Judicial District Judge handed down a directed verdict in the Paul Henley abuse of a child trail Monday.
Henley was on trial for one count of third-degree felony intentional abuse of a child or cruel punishment.
Judge Jerry H. Ritter Jr. gave the directed verdict of acquittal on the basis the prosecution had not proved its case after the state rested its case on Monday. Ritter granted the directed verdict on what he felt was a lack of evidence and mens rea or guilty mind.
Mens rea is defined as a mental state accompanying a forbidden act to be illegal. The act must be illegal and accompanied by an intention to commit a crime. FULL STORY
I left a comment there-Wow. A sane judge. How refreshing. And a hearing in a real court that demands real evidence is unheard-of in most states. This is what is known as "Due Process".
See "What Happens in the Fog", an essay about CPS cases in most states-
http://familyrights.us/educate/what_happens_in_the_fog.html
In most states, the standard CPS mode of operation is to kidnap the kids, unconstitutionally Legally Abuse the parents for Imaginary Crimes, dope the kids out of their heads in state custody, fraudulently collect their Medicare, and put them up for sale in the Kiddie Pound.
There is absolutely nothing honorable or good in this agency. They have NO success stories. They destroy every life they touch.
Be ready to answer the CPS agent when she brings the False Allegation to YOUR front door.
