TULSA, Okla. — Attorneys for the plaintiffs in a class-action lawsuit seeking changes in Oklahoma's foster-care system are trying to exploit the death of a Bartlesville infant to get publicity for their case, the Department of Human Services said.
The department has filed a motion to quash attempts by New York-based Children's Rights to depose DHS caseworkers and supervisors about the Nov. 4 death of 10-day-old Maggie Trammel, the Tulsa World reported. The agency also is seeking a protective order. FULL STORY
