SAN ANTONIO- A mother and daughter were murdered, and their home set on fire. It happened last month, possibly the tragic result of domestic violence. Now, a small group of protesters is using 10-year old Sammy Ochoa's death to send a message that they think there's a problem with Child Protective Services, not just here, but nationwide.

But that didn’t sit well with Sammy’s grandmother, Suzy Bianchi-Peters. She was outraged because she did not know anything about Sammy being included in this protest until we told her about it.

Susie Flores who was protesting said, “I'm honoring Dia De Los Muertos in honor of Sammy Ochoa who passed away on the 14th of September 2011.”

Flores and other members from Parental Rights U.S.A. focused on Sammy as they protested outside of CPS. They claim it bares some of the blame for her death along with the deaths of more than 550 other children across the nation because it didn't protect them. It's something Sammy's grandmother Suzy Bianchi-Peters was shocked to find out.

“I think that it is disrespectful, I really feel that if they had a true positive message behind it that they would have at least contacted me,” said Bianchi-Peters.

Sammy's grandmother is offended that protesters see her granddaughter as another number.

She said, “I feel it is disrespectful to consider my granddaughter a statistic. Even though her data is a statistic my granddaughter is not.”

Instead Sammy's grandmother is preparing several alters to honor the little girl and her mom Rebecca for the Day of the Dead.

“We decorate the alter with things they enjoyed, food. My granddaughter and daughter loved to hoola hoop, so I brought two small hoola hoops.”

A burnt Raggedy Ann doll on the alter will symbolize much more. It was one of Sammy’s favorite dolls. It also shows the reality of the child's brutal death. FULL STORY

I left a nice comment there-

We have plenty of Grandmothers, Aunts and Uncles who are crying because CPS refuses to honor the Kinship Placements law- 42 U.S.C. § 671 (a) (19)- because there's no money in that for the system.

It is a terrible situation for families out here in the real world, and NOBODY CARES.

I have some unfortunate news for Grandmother Suzy Bianchi-Peters: There is NO "positive message" when it comes to the officious (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/officious) CPS and the unconstitutional courts of NO Due Process.

The universal solution to the problem is- MAKE CHILD ABUSE A CRIME. Because right now, it's NOT. See "What Happens in the FOG"- http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-26520-Family-Rights-Examiner~y2009m10d15-The-CPS-case-What-happens-in-the-fog
