EKINS: Key to entitlement reform: Full refund
Taxpayers will go along if they don’t get robbed in the process

....Entitlements arguably have two components. First is a “contributive” component, which many Americans perceive as the money the government takes out of their paychecks and they view as contributing to their own retirements. Because all working people pay into Social Security and Medicare from their paychecks, they feel they bought into the system.
Then there’s the “redistributive” component, whereby some Americans with lower lifetime earnings receive more from these programs than they pay into them. Surely, not all Americans take the time to identify these two components or determine if they agree with both or one or the other. FULL STORY
I left a nice comment there (subject to moderation)-
If people realized the BILLION$ in FRAUD being perpetrated on the Social Security system by Childrens "Protective" Services, they would be SCREAMING mad.
Don't believe me that CPS has their talons sunk deeply into the Social Security system? Look at the Social Security Act INDEX-
http://www.socialsecurity.gov/OP_Home/ssact/ssact-toc.htm
Especially note Title IV and XX
Then there's the Billion$ in Medicare going into the psych meds to keep the kidnapped kids doped out of their heads until they "age out" and are tossed on the street with NO Education and NO Life Skills. There is a reason why such a large portion of people in prison were formerly involved with the CPS system. CPS destroys every life they touch.
