SHERIFF RICHARD MACK AND THE ROLE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE
ANTIDEPRESSANT ISSUE: In the early 2000′s law enforcement began to ask
why violence for seemingly NO reason at all seemed to be appearing
everywhere. And in February of 2004 Sheriff Richard Mack testified
before the FDA on this same type of violence being produced as a result
of these antidepressants. Sheriff Mack served as sheriff in my home
town. We grew up together and have been lifelong friends. Sheriff Mack
is the one who took the Brady Bill all the way to the Supreme Court to
preserve our Second Amendment Rights and he has led the way in gathering
sheriff’s to stand for our Constitutional rights against the Federal
Government encroachments upon those rights. He heads the organization
CSPOA – Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association. While
serving as sheriff in Graham Country Arizona he brought three of his
best friends home in body bags after they committed suicide on
antidepressants.
When Sheriff Mack gave his testimony to the FDA about the violence law
enforcement is seeing as a result of antidepressants he ended his
statement with:
“I am an advocate for state’s rights and I do believe that if the FDA
fails to take action, the state and local authorities will have to.”
