New Research: Emphasizing Evidence-Based Programs for Children and Youth
|
Implementing
evidence-based programs is a hot topic in child and youth development,
and there's a lot we still don't know about it. Three research briefs
Child Trends released recently suggest that it's not enough to invest in
programs that have been shown to work--we need to identify and invest
in the components that make these programs work better.
A final brief will be released in late spring. The briefs are being
prepared for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office
of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation.
