Wisconsin needs more moms this Mother’s Day.
And more dads.
Every two hours in Wisconsin, another child enters the state’s foster care system, often because of neglect or abuse. And there aren’t enough loving homes for all of them.
Adoption Resources of Wisconsin, a group that helps recruit and support foster and adoptive parents, projects 1,000 new foster families will be needed this year.
To help find more moms and dads, the group just launched a statewide recruitment campaign urging more adults to consider providing a home for a boy or girl without one. Another tasteless article for Mother's Day.
