Gain Constitutional Literacy,
Preserve Parental Rights
Here’s a way you can gain in-depth knowledge of the Constitution and help advance parental rights.

Have you ever wished that you had a better understanding of the Constitution of the United States?

Have you ever wished that your elected officials and judges had a better understanding of the Constitution of the United States?

Whenever I give detailed explanations of the constitutional issues surrounding parental rights, I find myself teaching about federalism, the proper role of the judiciary, the powers of Congress, and the history of fundamental rights.

It is always easier to explain the parental rights issue to people who have a good understanding of our overall constitutional system.

Unfortunately, very few elected officials have an in-depth understanding of the Constitution. Many judges and most lawyers also are woefully ignorant of the original meaning of the Constitution.

One of the founding fathers said that people who are “enlightened” about the Constitution and the current actions of government would never allow our government to become tyrannical.

When the people don’t really know the Constitution well, officials run rampant over our liberties.

I am convinced that the only way we are going to recover our freedoms is if We The People become constitutionally literate and then hold our officials accountable. After all they take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

It is not enough to read the Constitution. We need to know what it really means. We need to know what the people who wrote and ratified the Constitution meant by the words they used. And we need to know what the Supreme Court has done. The Supreme Court’s decisions need to be compared to the original meaning of the Constitution so we can understand whether the Court is protecting or undermining our liberties.

After teaching constitutional law for nearly 20 years to high school students, and for over 10 years to college students, I have decided to create a course in Constitutional Literacy that everyone can watch.

Constitutional Literacy is a 25-lesson course on DVD. All you have to do is put it in your DVD player and watch. No assignments. No tests.

You will learn about:

The powers of Congress
The powers of the President
The proper role of the judiciary
The real meaning of the Commerce Clause (which is used in all federal regulatory programs to control our lives)
The true meaning of the General Welfare Clause (which is used to spend trillions of dollars)
Religious freedom
Freedom of speech, press, and association
Equal protection
The Second Amendment
International Law
And more

And, of course, there is a session on the constitutional rights of parents.

Each lesson is a 20-minute-long, fast-moving enriched media production that is far more than plain lecture.

We even have actual oral arguments in the Supreme Court of the United States which I guarantee that you will find fascinating.

There are a total of 25 lessons. Click here to see the video trailer for the series so that you can get the feel for the series. And click here to see the entire first lesson for free.

This series is so new that it is being sent to the duplicator this week. It will be ready to be shipped by mid-September.

The series is going to retail for $95 plus tax and shipping. But we have a special offer just for the supporters of Parentalrights.org.

If you donate $75 or more to Parentalrights.org before September 17th (which is Constitution Day), we will send you the entire 25 episode series. All shipping charges are included.

If you donate $100, we will not only send you this entire series, we will also hand deliver a copy of this series on the Constitution to the office of your congressman or one of your senators*. If you donate $200, you will get the series and we will deliver a copy of Constitutional Literacy to the office of your Congressman and both of your U.S. Senators**.

I guarantee you that they need to become constitutionally literate.

This will help advance parental rights in a number of ways.

• Your donation will help fund the activities of Parentalrights.org
• Your own knowledge of the Constitution will help you as you advocate for parental rights
• You can help ensure that your Congressman and Senators have the opportunity (for the first time in their lives for most of them) to truly become constitutionally literate.

ParentalRights.org genuinely needs your support. But if you give right now, before September 17th, you can not only help ParentalRights.org, you can also help your family and your nation become constitutionally literate.

For the Family,

Michael Farris
President

*If your Congessman has already received one, we will deliver one to your senior senator, then to the junior senator. **If all three of your lawmakers have already received a copy, we will deliver Constitutional Literacy to the next-closest lawmaker to your district.
