PHILADELPHIA — A missing Florida girl has been found safe in Philadelphia in the wake of the arrest of three people who allegedly held mentally disabled adults captive in a basement.
Benita Rodriguez, 15, was reported missing from her West Palm Beach, Fla., home on July 4, NBC Philadelphia affiliate WCAU reported.
According to NBC Philadelphia, Rodriguez had last been seen with Gregory Thomas Jr., whose father was among those arrested over the weekend in connection with the basement captive case.
Linda Ann Weston, a woman convicted in the starvation death of a man nearly 20 years ago, also was arrested. She is facing charges of kidnapping and false imprisonment for allegedly preying on four mentally disabled adults, locking them in a basement in northeast and wresting control of their Social Security disability checks. A landlord found them Saturday .
Weston was charged Monday with kidnapping, false imprisonment and other offenses, with bail set at $2.5 million after her landlord stumbled upon the four adults, all weak and malnourished, in a dank, foul smelling boiler room on Saturday.
Also charged were Eddie "the Rev. Ed" Wright, who Weston says is her boyfriend, and Gregory Thomas. FULL STORY

News Flash to those who find this case egregious and intolerable-
There is a huge Organized Crime ring in the country doing exactly the same thing- Bleeding Social Security and Medicare dry by holding people captive and defrauding the Federal Funding streams.
It is Children's "Protective" Services. And no, I am not trying to be funny. They are extremely evil, and if you have kids, you would be wise to know what to do WHEN a CPS worker knocks on YOUR door.

Jaycee Dugard, the woman kidnapped as a child by convicted sex offender Phillip Garrido and imprisoned for 18 years, has filed a lawsuit under the Federal Tort Claims Act seeking damages for the federal government's allegedly negligent handling of Garrido's parole.

This should be expanded to include the THOUSANDS of kids kidnapped by CPS who got the crap raped out of them in CPS custody.

2-year-old taken from home found alive in Iowa
2-year-old taken from home found alive in Iowa

Kansas City -- A 2-year-old girl who was taken from her western Missouri home Thursday morning by a woman claiming to a child welfare worker was found safe about nine hours later in Iowa, authorities said.
Two people were with Syah D. Duffey when Iowa State Highway Patrol officers stopped a vehicle about 5:45 p.m. near the Des Moines suburb of Mitchellville, the Cass County Sheriff's Department said.
No other information about the stop or the people with the girl was immediately released. Mitchellville is about 210 miles northeast of the Cass County town of East Lynne, where Syah lives with her mother.
Authorities had issued an Amber Alert for Syah around 2:30 p.m., six hours after the woman came to the home in East Lynne, about 35 miles south of Kansas City, and drove away with the child in a dirty white van with Iowa license plates.
Syah's grandmother, Karrie Ratkewicz, told local media outlets that the family believed the woman has ties to the girl's father, who hasn't met the child but talks to her on the telephone frequently. Ratkewicz said the girl's father lives in Iowa.
Cass County sheriff's Cpl. Kevin Tieman said the case was being treated as a stranger abduction because the woman, who claimed to be an Iowa child welfare worker, wasn't known to anyone in Syah's family.
Tieman said Syah's mother didn't immediately contact authorities because she was trying to verify with family members why the girl was taken.
"We now know it was not any legitimate reason the child would have been taken, but the mother wasn't able to confirm that until 90 minutes later," Tieman said.

November is National Adoption Month
November is National Adoption Month
AFRA recommends adopting puppies or kittens.
They don't have kin who care.
And there's no federal subsidy paying an organized crime ring to create them.
