$4.2 million paid to private attorneys for DHS foster-care lawsuit defense

Oklahoma taxpayers have spent about $4.2 million on attorneys since April 2008 for the state Department of Human Services to defend a class-action lawsuit alleging abusive conditions in the state's foster-care system, records show. FULL STORY
