McALESTER, Oklahoma — When an investigator from Child Protective Services from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services comes to the door, most parents don’t know what their rights are. That’s according to some McAlester residents who have recently dealt with CPS.
“There are rights that we have as parents,” said McAlester resident Brian Buckner.
He said his recent dealings with the Pittsburg County DHS were very scary for him and traumatizing for his three children. FULL STORY and photographs
