EDMONTON - A former Athabasca youth worker convicted of child porn and voyeurism charges involving "highly inappropriate" sex videos of underage girls was put behind bars Friday.

Jason Keough, 36, was sentenced to 27 months in prison by Court of Queen's Bench Justice Donald Mandersheid.

The judge said he did not know much about Keough as the former child protection worker for troubled youth did not testify at trial, but noted that, based on his work and training, it would have been impossible for him not to understand that his actions were "abusive and immoral."

Mandersheid called Keough's actions "highly inappropriate" and said that, at best, Keough was a "facilitator," and, at worst, he was a "predator." FULL STORY
