I think we can be sure the money will continue flowing for the kidnapping, doping, and family destruction.

HHS Provides Details on Impacts of Potential Sequestration Cuts

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has issued details on the effects that sequestration would have on the agency's programs. According to the report HHS faces a 7.8% budget cut that will go into effect on January 2, 2013 for the majority of HHS programs (as CWLA has noted some programs are exempt). Specifically, HHS estimates that up to 100,000 children would lose access to Head Start, 80,000 would lose child care assistance and 169,000 fewer people would receive substance abuse treatment services.  The agency also predicts that grant programs and programs targeting the homeless and those with AIDS would also be severely impacted.

Despite bipartisan unease with the pending sequestration cuts, the House and Senate have yet to come to an agreement on how to replace them.  It is likely that if any settlement is to come, it will be after the November elections.
