STATESVILLE, NC - A man was charged with child abuse and drug charges after deputies said they found a baby and a large amount of marijuana in a vehicle and the man passed out inside a house.
John Richard Menscer of Statesville was arrested on charges of child abuse, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling to keep/sell a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, resisting a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
