For all of you who have appreciated www.ssristories.com I would encourage you to post a quick thank you note for Rosie Meysenberg, our Texas director for the International Coalition for Drug Awareness.

Since the mid 90's Rosie & I have worked together in gathering cases involving SSRI antidepressants. Those early stories formed the beginning of www.ssristories.com. She & her husband, Gene, put together the SSRIstories website, an incredible searchable database of these cases & then Rosie began to add more and more cases as the search engines became more and more available to us on the internet for news articles. Finally reaching a total of almost 5000 cases. Two major medical articles have already been written with this database as the catalyst.

Now Rosie is battling cancer & for the last two weeks Hospice has been there assisting she & her husband with her care. She is asking for our prayers. Please join us in praying for her. And please send her a thank you for the great work she has done for us all - dedicating her life to documenting these cases for us at great sacrifice on her part.

The following is the link to her Caring Bridges page where you can leave a message:

And the following is the latest update from her sister-in-law:

A word about Rosie-

I know that all of you who have been so gracious to write in Rosie's guestbook, also are probably wondering how she is doing. Hospice has been helping them for the last couple weeks. Rosie is bedridden and very weak. Gene prints all of your messages and reads them to her so keep them coming. Mostly she wants and needs your prayers. We all know and love Rosie so lets be there for her. Thank you so much.

Rosie's sister-in-law,
Joyce Meysenburg
