House Begins Work on President’s FY 2013 Budget

This week the House Energy and Commerce and Ways and Means Committees held hearings with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to discuss the details of the President’s HHS Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 budget proposals that are within the Committees’ jurisdictions. On February 13, 2012, President Obama submitted his fiscal year 2013 budget proposal to Congress, including over $940 billion in outlays for HHS. FULL STORY
