Why don't we DO SOMETHING about it?

Amber commented:

I would like to say that if so many of us are fed up with cps or social services why don’t we do something about it other than just talk about it? These agencies have way too much power and are ruining lives. That is not what they are here for. They need to be put in their place and hello people there are far more of us than them. We need to rise up and take back what belongs to us, our children and our right to raise them!!!!

The last GREAT operation AFRA got going was the "Shock and Awe" campaign about 8 years ago.

Who is interested in collaborating in putting together a NEW nation-wide campaign to educate the dumb masses about the horrors of CPS and the family courts?

Who has some NEW ideas?

  1. I'm game, too. You know, before cps existed the abused and neglected children were still taken care of. The families' neighbors, family, and churchs would step in and help. When necessary they would take the children and put them in other homes within the community thru the church. Seems to me we should go back to that. Get out of our lives the ones who manipulate and lie and bend things to their advantage so they can steal our children and "legally" sell them to their benefit.

  3. How about starting an International Court of Human Rights that embodies the four freedoms and ensures due process eliminating hearsay and biased experts, eliminating state extortion by requiring states to ante up security bonds that are paid out if they lose and performance bonds so that when they delay or fail to provide service they lose any claim on time and the bond amount. Initially the opinions would be advisory but later the court could become mandated. Note the judges must not be beholden to any state by the method the become a judge.

  5. Now despite the controversial vote they deleted the Wikipedia page about him, they shut down his personal webpage, and they pretend he never existed. No story, period. After 25 years of impunity, they are power-drunk, and they think the status quo is going to last beyond their life spans. And they lured us into this discussion game, as if you can achieve justice with mere words. Justice is impossible, when the right to retaliate is denied.

  6. We have had protests for the last 15 years, and how much change has there been? None from the protests! The changes have come due to law suits like Walsh v. Erie County here in Ohio.

One of the easiest way to effect change is to push the attorneys, but no one wants to do it! How many have gotten involved with politics so you get to know the law makers.

Petitions are NOT read and mean little to nothing because the state reps don't care if all the signatures come from out of state.

CPS, although formed by federal regulations/laws, is state run. The state is where the most of the fighting has to be done. Get involved! Work campaigns without mentioning your case, get to know the folks, than say, "did you know...?" and keep your case out of it!

  7. I nominate Thomas Ball for saintly status, let him be our patron saint as we march forward with singularity in purpose, TO DESTROY THE BEAST BORN IN THE SECRET COURTS THAT IS DEVOURING OUR FAMILIES!

  8. As a matter of fact, I have busily spent the past 12 hours compiling the Thomas Ball info into one place at AFRA.

Oddly enough, I was JUST NOW reflecting back on the Buddist priest who burnt himself up in Vietnam way back in the early 1960's and how that act was so SOBERING to the prideful westernized people.

  10. Reach people with putting up brochures on laundrymat bulletin boards(my personal favorite in the public posting arena, which has gotten the most responses), and keep checking on them after you've placed them--
Do what Susan Detlefsen did--find out how in your area to do cable-broadcast shows (in this area it's $10 to join the group that makes that happen, plus more if you choose to take the classes they offer to do the shows yourself, rather than them)--tape what you do, and show in churches, your neighborhood, family gettogethers, etc. Make sure you talk a lot about the Parent festivals and other celebrations so it's not just, 'we've been screwed...'.
    >>This all is sustained effort, not just one-time-only stuff. The reason the system has gotten its corrupt self where it has, is, sustained effort. Don't let your righteous indignation dry up or hide.
