LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A Louisville man was arrested -- and a child was hospitalized -- after police say the man beat the child with a studded belt.
28-year-old Michael S. Draper allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend Sunday morning and barricaded himself in an apartment with both her and her child. When police arrived, he allegedly try to flee out the window, but was apprehended.
During her police interview, Draper's girlfriend told police of her nightmarish time with Draper. She said he beat her in the arms and legs, and told her that if they tried to leave, he would kill both her and her child. She said he smashed her phone -- stopping her from calling police -- and began beating her child with a studded belt.
Police say the child received multiple injuries and was transported to Kosair Children's Hospital. Additional felony charges are expected to be filed at a later time.
Due to Draper's extensive criminal history, police are requesting a high bond. Fox41.com obtained his criminal history from Louisville Metro Corrections and found that included charges such as rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, robbery and resisting arrest.

Shacking up with a boyfriend is the path to hell. Boyfriends have NO "natural affection" for your children, and they are the #1 baby rapists and child abusers and killers, at the TOP of any statistical data.
