Just Released . . . 2013 Child Indicator Newsletter
 The Winter 2013 Child Indicator newsletter features the following articles and information:
  • Measuring Subjective Well-Being, Discusses the subjective well-being module of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' American Time Use Survey.
  • Violent Crime Against Youth, 1994-2010. Examines recent and longer-term declines in violent crimes against U.S. youth.
  • News (and new products) from the U.S. Census Bureau. Features new tools and data developments from the U.S. Census Bureau.
  • International News. Highlights multiple international reports, including Child Trends' recent report from the World Family Map project.
  • Systems Science: A New Frame for Indicators? Discusses the evolution in indicators knowledge, and new insights about indicators and evaluation from the field of public health.
  • Short Takes. Provides a brief overview of some newly available resources for child and youth indicators.
